Terms of Service — Freetempmail Rules and Acceptable Use

By using Freetempmail (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Freetempmail provides disposable temporary email addresses and a browser inbox so you can receive verification messages without exposing your permanent mailbox. The Service is free, requires no account registration, and is designed for short-lived, lawful use.
Acceptable use
Use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may create temporary addresses to protect privacy, complete legitimate signups, and test software you are authorized to test.
You must not use the Service to:
- Harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate others
- Send or arrange unsolicited bulk messages (spam)
- Evade bans, commit payment fraud, or violate another site’s terms in a way that harms third parties
- Probe, disrupt, or overload our infrastructure or upstream mail providers
- Store or distribute illegal content through inbound mail
We may rate-limit, block, or terminate access when we detect abuse.
How the Service works (summary)
Addresses are provisioned via upstream mail providers. Session tokens live in your browser (localStorage). We do not promise permanent storage of messages. Discarding an address deletes upstream access; recovery is not guaranteed. Details are in the Privacy Policy and product documentation.
No warranty
The Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee deliverability, uptime, message retention, or acceptance of temporary domains by third-party sites.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Freetempmail and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost messages, lost profits, or lost data arising from use of the Service.
Intellectual property
Site design, branding, and original content are owned by Freetempmail or its licensors. You may not copy the product UI or trademarks for competing services without permission. Inbound email content remains subject to the rights of its senders and recipients.
Privacy
Our collection and use of information is described in the Privacy Policy, including website analytics (Google Analytics) and the fact that mail bodies are not sold or used for advertising.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes may also appear in the Changelog.
