DMCA — Copyright takedown process

What to send, where to send it, and how fast we act. If content accessed through Freetempmail infringes your copyright, start here.

Freetempmail is a temporary email receiver. We do not host a public user-generated content library, but messages and attachments that pass through disposable inboxes may still implicate third-party rights. If you believe content accessed through Freetempmail infringes your copyright, send a complete notice.

What to include

  • A description of the copyrighted work.
  • The URL or identifying information of the infringing material (message identifiers, sender headers, or timestamps help).
  • Your contact information (name, email, and mailing address if available).
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Where to send

Email the notice to contact@freetempmail.com with the subject line DMCA Notice. Incomplete notices may delay action. Do not attach malware samples or live credentials.

What we do

We aim to act on valid notices within 48 hours, which may include removing stored message material we control, blocking repeated abusive senders when feasible, and documenting the request. Temporary inboxes are short-lived by design; some material may already have expired before a notice arrives.

Counter-notices

If you believe material was removed by mistake, reply to our acknowledgment with a counter-notice that includes your contact details, identification of the material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification. We may restore material when the law allows.
